Staying in an Elegant Pool View Studio, I enjoyed the clean, spacious room with a private balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard. The breakfast was good, offering fresh local orange juice, fine espresso, and plenty of tasty options, including local organic eggs and a variety of cheeses. The super-friendly staff were very good too, providing great insights on local attractions and ensuring I felt right at home.
Noisy at night.

Our small family of three stayed at see view apartment. 30 seconds walk to the see front, 30 minutes walk to the central part of Rethymno. We loved the location, see view balcony and extremely friendly and helpful staff. My son (5 Y.O.) immensely enjoyed both swimming pools. Buses run frequently. Couple of good restaurants not far from the hotel and plenty of touristic eating palaces. Tours can be booked at the hotel reception.
Would recommend to put mosquito nets as the air conditioner is too loud and it is a pity to close the windows when you can enjoy night fresh air. Fumigators are not enough in case you want to keep window open.

The size of the apartment is quite good.
The surrounding, we entered the hotel from the highway so it is not easy to find it.

As there were no russian tourists in this area I will put my comments in English. All service and other characteristics of the Aristea are the best we have seen near Retimno: apartments are in a very good condition, well designed big rooms, fully packed kitchen, lots of additional features the make your leasure more comfortable. Completely free beach, clean seem very nice window-view. Many taverns around and quite close to Retimno, but no noise at all as the covered enbankment road finishes in 100m before this hotel, so you will have the real 1st line.
everything was very nice.

We really liked this hotel, value for money indeed! Staff tryed to help and our flat was perfect. The small street had a wonderful genuin taverna just outside hotel which really outclassed all tourist traps on the larger beach road, no need for long walks to places were people try to push you inside for over priced food..
Well..outside our balcony we had the big garbage cans which smelled not exactly jum jum... The local boys used the area outside the hotel also to drive their scooters in the evenings, around and around. Our cleaning girl who didnt speak so good english wanted to clean flat 10 o´clock in mornings..a bit to early for vacations perhaps..other wise nothing to complain about at all.

The outdoor pool area is clean and offers a decent spot to unwind, and the beach is just a couple of minutes away. The bar provides free sunbeds when you buy drinks, a nice touch after a long day in the sun.
Check-in was a bit of a hassle as we had to park elsewhere even though we expected free parking onsite. Breakfast often felt ordinary and cold, and we had to fork out extra for coffee pods and towels, not provided. The gym facilities are minimal and, at times, the shower showed signs of mold, not ideal.

Nicely decorated hotel with sea views of the beach right across from it and attentive and caring staff. Silent rooms, comfy beds, gorgeous breakfast. Kindness of the staff. Very good services, reliable Wi-Fi. Lovely restaurant, parking outside.

The Comfort Apartment, Garden Level was really spacious with a kitchen and dining table. Two comfy settees in a separate room. The balcony had great views of the bar area. Super convenient for a quick beach walk too! Thought the breakfast buffet was a highlight with tons of yummy options. The only downside was the area outside felt a bit run-down, kind of a bummer.
